Manager – Cyber Security Delivery & Transformation Overview EY South Africa is looking for an experienced Cyber Security Manager with a strong delivery background. This role will focus on managing cybersecurity projects and programmes from initiation through delivery while ensuring quality outcomes, strong stakeholder management and commercial discipline. Unlike the Senior Manager role, this position is delivery-focused rather than sales-focused. We are looking for candidates who can manage fast-paced engagements, coordinate resources, maintain budgets, manage risks and successfully deliver complex cybersecurity outcomes. What We Are Looking For 8–12 years cybersecurity experience. 3–5 years operating at Manager level or equivalent. Proven experience delivering cybersecurity programmes and projects. Strong project and programme management capability. Experience managing budgets, resources, timelines and risks. Ability to lead local and offshore delivery teams. Strong client engagement skills. Ability to work across multiple engagements simultaneously. Preferred Technical Background Strong experience in: Cloud Security Splunk SIEM and SOC environments Security Architecture Security Monitoring Cyber Operations Threat Detection and Response Vulnerability Management Experience in the following would be advantageous: AI for Security Operations Security Copilot Security Automation SOAR Platforms Threat Intelligence Mandatory Requirements Relevant degree in IT, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Engineering or related field. Proven cybersecurity project delivery experience. Strong stakeholder and team management capability. Preferred Certifications CISSP CISM CCSP Splunk Enterprise Security Splunk Cloud SC-200 SC-100 AZ-500 Agile, Scrum or PMP certifications Key Success Factors Strong delivery discipline. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Effective team leadership. Strong client communication. Practical cloud and Splunk experience. Ability to consistently deliver quality outcomes
